Popy Matigot (CH) – Un palmier sous la neige // SÄLI
Marin lives in his Own World. On a parallel road… An inside jungle is slowly invading it.
Then comes a tiger. Soothing, protective at first, the tiger quickly comes into taking a very consuming space…
Marin is schizophrenic. He's the main character of the graphic novel written by Popy Matigot as her final school project at the HEAD in Geneva. Through a poetic and colourful universe, she is trying to illustrate the symptoms of a mental illness still very difficult to understand and analyse in a right way...
Kristen Curtis (CH) – Crushing // VITRINE
Kristen Haas Curtis is an American cartoonist, living in Switzerland for the past nine years. The majority of her work is based around autobiographical diary comics exploring everyday life as a mother, artist and foreigner in Switzerland and includes two travel diaries she has self-published. Her most recent comic, «Crushing», is a 13 page short story exploring admiration and obsession and the ways in which these states can cloud our judgement. It is her second short work of fiction.
Patricia Brunner / Alexander Obretenov / Anja Sidler (CH) // PING-PONG RAUM
